Taste of Somerville 2018

Taste of Somerville Facebook

On Wednesday, June 20th, the Taste of Somerville is back for its 20th year, bringing all the best local food, drink, and entertainment to one spot to overwhelm your senses with good taste. Last year’s event served over 1500 guests and included more than 75 bars, restaurants, makers, and purveyors – this year is shaping up to be just as big.

Held in Nathan Tufts Park from 5:00 to 8:00pm, the event will feature more food and drink than you can shake a stick at, from spots like Brass Union, Bronwyn, Five Horses Tavern, Foundry On Elm, Highland Kitchen, Juliet, River Bar and Saloon. There’ll also be local artists, kids entertainment, and musicians curated by the Boston Music Awards. As always, proceeds from ticket sales benefit a local charity. This year they’ve selected the Walnut Street Center, a human-services agency promoting self-advocacy for vulnerable citizens. See the whole lineup (culinary and otherwise) on the event website, and reserve your tickets ($50 for general admission) online here before they’re all gone.
