You don’t have to wait for the weekend to have an intimate dinner party, in fact, the crew at Talulla says, Why Not Tuesday? The “mom-and-pop” team of Danielle Ayer and chef Conor Dennehy are hosting two nights this month (January 9th and 23rd) with the buzzy Concord-area supper club Bon Ami, and it’s the perfect way to add a little fun to your work week. Check out the 5-course menu below, which focuses on all things persimmons (think: trofie with duck confit, armagnac, pickled persimmon and pecorino di tartufo; and wagyu striploin with smoked farm carrots, amaranth, persimmon mostarda and au jus). As an extra celebratory bonus, the menu also celebrates Bon Ami’s one-year anniversary, so be sure to wish founders Gavin Lambert and Rachel Amiralian a happy business birthday. Dinner costs $135 and you can add an optional wine pairing for $56. Grab reservations here and be sure to act fast if you’re interested because Talulla has a mere 12 tables in their petite dining room. The doors open each evening at 6:00pm, and you can give them a ring at 617.714.5584 if you have any Qs.
