Where there’s smoke, there’s barbecue. On Sunday, October 1st, the East Cambridge Business Association and Divco West want you to get fired up about the best ribs in Cambridge. For the eighth year in a row, some of the city’s best restaurants are getting together to battle it out for the title of Best Rib. From 12:00pm to 4:00pm, Cambridge Street (between Fulkerson and Fifth) will be closed to traffic and open to pit masters, live music, and hungry patrons voting on their favorite barbecue. Participating restaurants like Area Four, ArtBar, Bambara, Catalyst, Commonwealth, Loyal Nine and Puritan & Co. will be selling their featured dishes, but for the full experience grab yourself a Taste Ticket, which will get you 10 rib samples from your favorite spot. They sell out every year, so grab your tickets soon.
