Shop the Farmers Market with OAK Long Bar + Kitchen

Fairmont Copley Plaza

Farmers market-fresh dinners in the heart of downtown Boston? It’s an urban food lovers dream come true for hotel guests at the Fairmont Copley Plaza this season. On Friday afternoons Executive Chef Zaid Khan invites you to come along on a shopping trip through the Copley Square Farmers Market (Boston’s biggest with more than three dozen farmers and food producers), which is conveniently located right across the street from the hotel. You and your fellow diners will first carefully choose ingredients, with help from the chef, from the über-fresh produce, proteins, baked goods and other locally-made products. Then, while you enjoy a few hours exploring Back Bay (or relaxing upstairs in the hotel), Kahn will prep a private, off-menu, three-course meal using the ingredients you selected. In the evening simply head to OAK Long Bar + Kitchen  for your dinner reservation and enjoy. Don’t worry about the weather; dinner and market tours happen rain or shine — just like the market!

Book your stay for any Friday from June 10 through October 7 for the farmer’s market experience. Your reservations include early check-in at 1:00pm (subject to availability), the shopping excursion at the market, reservations for two at OAK Long Bar + Kitchen with your three-course private meal, and a $25 donation to benefit Massachusetts Farmers Markets, which helps them to partner with farmers, consumers and communities to improve life through access to healthy local food. Book your stay on the Fairmont’s website, or call 617.267.5300 for more information about this #eatlocal experience.
