The Second Glass Classy Bar Crawl

Brace yourself – The Second Glass, with a little help from BostonChefs.com, is about to shatter your conception of a bar crawl. No more stumbling from darkened pub to seamy watering hole or wandering from one Faneuil Hall tourist trap to the next – this is The Second Glass Classy Bar Crawl. On Thursday, September 23rd, get out your best get-up (no, seriously some of these places have dress codes) and get to Downtown Crossing for a swanky neighborhood stroll with pit stops at Bina Osteria, Kingston Station, Petit Robert Central and Woodward at the Ames. Neighborhood diversions might also include Jer-Ne or Locke Ober, and there’ll be after party festivities at both Post 390 and Clink at the Liberty Hotel. There’s no fee for the event, which is running in conjunction with Boston Wine Week, and glasses of wine at each stop will be just $9 each. Some of the restaurants – Kingston Station, we’re looking at you – will be offering strollers delicious snacks (like hummus or sliders or chicken wings or maybe even some truffle fries). Check the schedule online or register in advance – you might win prizes – and get ready to sniff, sip and swirl your way around Downtown Crossing.
