The First Annual Boston Wine Week

Calling all oenophiles – from Monday, September 20th through Sunday, the 26th, The Second Glass, TV Diner and Quarterly Review of Wine are joining forces to launch the first ever Boston Wine Week. Built upon the conviction that great wine doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg, this winey week will allow diners at a selection of area restaurants to sample some truly delicious vin for only $9 a glass or $32 a bottle. Here’s how it works: restaurants like Beacon Hill Bistro, The Beehive, blu, Brasserie Jo, Clink, Kingston Station, Locke Ober, Pairings, Post 390, Sandrine’s and Sibling Rivalry will offer a minimum of six wines on their lists to patrons at a substantial discount (the aforementioned prices). Also, for those interested in a little sipping and chatting, BiNA Osteria will host a special wine tasting with Tyler Balliet of the Second Glass on September 20th from 6:00 to 7:00pm, and Bin 26 will welcome Richard Elia of the Quarterly Review of Wines from 6:00 to 7:00pm on September 21st. Each event will feature paired nibbles and a host of interesting information from the experts. For more information, visit the event website and then start booking your tables and honing your palate.
