Rustic Kitchen’s In the Kitchen Gets Springy

It doesn’t feel like picnic weather quite yet but the team at Rustic Kitchen wants you to be prepared by the time it gets here – sign on for an upcoming installment of chef Alyssa Bigelow‘s Friday night cooking series, In the Kitchen and learn the ins and outs of The Spring Chicken Picnic. During April, May and June Bigelow will guide attendees through all things chicken starting with how to break one down and wrapping up with how to incorporate one into a perfectly planned romantical picnic for two. The enticing al fresco menu starts with imported cheeses, a fantastic mushroom pate and crackers followed by buttermilk fried chicken and two great salads. Add a side of roasted spring vegetable and orzo salad with feta; fennel slaw and goddess cookies and you’ve got the perfect portable meal. Tickets to the weekly event, which gets underway at 7:00pm in the cozy Park Square cooking studio, cost $85 apiece and must be purchased in advance by calling 781.575.1533.
