On Tuesday, January 25th raise a glass to Robert Burns, the national poet of Scotland, at a delicious three-course Burns Supper and live poetry reading at Urban Hearth. Chef-owner Erin Miller and crew have crafted up their versions of traditional Scottish dishes over which to celebrate Caledonian culture with a lively reading of Burns’ poems by Cambridge storyteller Doria Hughes.

Sink your teeth into cullen skink soup (made with smoked haddock, potatoes and onions), roast beef, haggis with neeps and tatties (mashed turnips and potatoes), and finish the night off with cranachan (traditional sweet made with whipped cream, whiskey, oatmeal, honey and raspberries) for dessert. There will be Scottish ales to drink, along with a curated wine and cocktails list, as well as a whiskey tasting for an additional $20.

The three-course dinner costs $70 per person, with limited seating so book your spot online here (select the date and 6:30pm experience) before it sells out. Make sure to bring along proof of vaccination and get ready to relish this beloved Scottish tradition.
