If you want to rub elbows with the stars of Boston’s culinary scene, head to the Colonnade Hotel on Thursday, April 16th for the StarChefs.com Rising Stars Gala. The evening begins with an awards ceremony at 6:30pm followed by a tasting gala from 7:30-9:00pm where the celebrated chefs, including Jason Bond, Patrick Campbell, Cara Chigazola, Renae Connolly, Carl Dooley, John DaSilva, Matthew Delisle, Cassie Piuma, Rachel Sundet and others, will serve up bites of their award-winning dishes. Bartender and sommelier winners from restaurants like Drink, Baldwin Bar, Bar Boulud, Eastern Standard and L’Espalier will pour accompanying sips to wash it all down. Tickets for the gala cost $95 each and VIP tickets (which include a 5:45pm reception with Cava and caviar) cost $125 each. A portion of proceeds will go towards the Boston Public Market, which will be a year-round farmers market celebrating New England ingredients.
