Scope out the 2024 list of semifinalists for James Beard Awards – the NYC-based foundation has highlighted some of their picks for the country’s best and brightest up-and-coming hospitality professionals (chefs, restaurateurs, bakers, pastry chefs, sommeliers and more) and there are a few familiar names and faces among the bunch. Keep reading for the complete list of contenders for Best Chef Northeast and start booking your tables.
Some local faves are in the running in national categories, too including Comfort Kitchen in Dorchester which is up for Best New Restaurant, and Downtown Crossing’s haley.henry wine bar and Somerville’s Rebel Rebel, both of which are up for Outstanding Wine and Other Beverages Program.
The pared down list of nominees will drop on Wednesday, April 3rd, and this year’s winners will be celebrated at an awards ceremony on Monday, June 5th at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
