Chef Paul O’Connell, known for the legendary Cuban sandwiches at Cambridge’s beloved Chez Henri, is reuniting with his mojito-making right hand man, Joe McGuirk, for two evenings of sammies, rum-based cocktails and live jazz at Warehouse XI in Somerville. Take your pick from two nights – Thursdays August 12th and 19th – and catch this duo back in action. Tickets, available online here, are $60 each and cover two beverages, the aforementioned Cuban sandwich (in its original meaty form or a vegetarian version) and the evening’s live tunes courtesy of Brooklyn-based saxophonist Noah Preminger, winner of Downbeat Magazine’s Rising Star Best Tenor Saxophonist. Reservations are required so be sure to secure your spot for your preferred performance asap.
