Raise a glass – because you can! – in honor of the 21st Amendment at Noir’s upcoming Repeal Day Party in collaboration with their friends at Bombay Sapphire. On Saturday, December 5th, The Charles Hotel’s swanky cocktail bar invites guests to get into the glamorous spirit of the 1920s with Prohibition-themed party attire (think flapper dresses and fedoras ‘though don’t worry about your dancing shoes as dancing isn’t allowed at the moment) and of-the-era cocktails. The team will be pouring their own versions of bevvies like the White Lady, the French 75, the Bijou and serving an a la carte menu of period-appropriate fare like Oysters Rockefeller, lobster bisque, and Beef Wellington. There’ll be prizes for Best Dressed courtesy of Bombay and a portion of the day’s proceeds will be donated to the Greater Boston Food Bank.
