Can you make a mean Old Fashioned? Get over to OAK Long Bar + Kitchen on Tuesday, March 20th to show off your skills in a good ol’ fashion (get it?!?) class and competition. Hosted by Kentucky-based Angel’s Envy, the event will give you the scoop on the history of the classic cocktail before letting you loose to make one yourself (supplies are included).

Small bites like oysters and charcuterie plates will be passed around, but don’t get too distracted by eating — the DIY cocktail sesh is a contest, judged by Angel’s Envy and OAK Long Bar + Kitchen bar staff. If you’re one of the few to craft a triumphant drink (there’ll be three winners), you’ll get a special prize. No matter where you place in the race, everyone will take home a gift set full of Old Fashioned fixin’s so you can replicate the beverage once you’re back in your own space.
