The folks at the Fairmont Copley Plaza are big fans of bees. So much so, in fact, that they have three hives full of thousands (yes, thousands) of the hive-minded honey-makers located up on their roof. In honor of their buzzing little friends and National Honey Bee Day (Saturday, August 18th for those of you who aren’t up-to-date on your bee holidays), they’ll be adding a special cocktail to the offerings at OAK Long Bar + Kitchen. Pop over to hotel’s signature restaurant to try the Bees Knees, a concoction made with Caledonia honey, Barr Hill Gin and Yuzu (available for $18), and a dollar will be donated to the Urban Beekeeping Laboratory & Bee Sanctuary.
