Help Save The Bees with This Cocktail

Fairmont Copley Plaza

The folks at the Fairmont Copley Plaza are big fans of bees. So much so, in fact, that they have three hives full of thousands (yes, thousands) of the hive-minded honey-makers located up on their roof. In honor of their buzzing little friends and National Honey Bee Day (Saturday, August 18th for those of you who aren’t up-to-date on your bee holidays), they’ll be adding a special cocktail to the offerings at OAK Long Bar + Kitchen. Pop over to hotel’s signature restaurant to try the Bees Knees, a concoction made with Caledonia honey, Barr Hill Gin and Yuzu (available for $18), and a dollar will be donated to the Urban Beekeeping Laboratory & Bee Sanctuary. Call 617.585.7222 with any questions, and if you can’t stop by on Saturday, word is a honey-infused pie will be launching on OAK Long Bar + Kitchen’s dessert menu soon (so you’ll get your sweet fix eventually!).
