Head just south of the city on Saturday, September 21st to help a family-owned favorite celebrate 85 years. Norfolk Companies — which owns four local hardware, kitchen & bath and cabinet businesses — just remodeled their Norfolk Hardware store at 981 Morton Street in Boston, and you’re invited to come check it out. There’ll be tons of activities from 11:00am to 4:00pm including a dunk tank, craft table and lawn games. Snag some eats from The Smoke Shop BBQ, courtesy of pitmaster Andy Husbands, and keep an eye out for 30-minute flash sales throughout the afternoon for the chance to get up to 75%. Billy Costa is emceeing the shindig, and Mayor Marty Walsh is rumored to be dropping by. The event is free as long as you RSVP here.
