On Saturday, June 9th, Commonwealth Market & Restaurant is continuing their mission to foster a food community with another OurCookQuest pop-up class, and this time they’re taking a deep dive into miso. If you’ve ever slurped on miso soup while waiting for your sushi, you already know you love the stuff, but you might not know much about it. The two-hour class will delve into the making, history and practical applications of this high-protein paste with hands-on projects like making hoisin sauce, umami hollandaise and miso candy.
