Mark your calendars for this year’s Chefs in Shorts on Friday, June 14th. The perennial rain-or-shine sell-out returns to the Seaport bringing with it some of the city’s top culinary talent in appropriately leg-baring bottoms. Get a ticket and get over to the upper level viaduct (just follow the scent of grill smoke) by 7:00pm to wander from station to station sampling hot-off-the-grill goodies from the likes of Aquitaine, Bambara, The Biltmore, Bistro du Midi, BOND, Brasserie Jo, Church, Cinquecento, Davio’s, Forum, Gaslight, Lincoln Tavern, Local 149, Market, Metropolis Café, Taranta, Top of the Hub, Tremont 647, Turner Fisheries and Union. There’ll be plenty of beer and wine, and more food than you’ll know what to do with. Tickets for the citified barbeque cost $70 each and are available online(until they’re all gone, that is). Get yours before they disappear. Proceeds from ticket sales will support Future Chefs in their efforts to prepare urban youth for careers in the culinary field.
