Marchesi di Barolo Dinner

Brian Samuels Photography for Bistro du Midi

It’s Barolo time at Bistro du Midi on Wednesday, October 19th as chef Robert Sisca breaks out the truffles and foie gras at a Treasures of the Piedmont Italian wine dinner. The talented team at the Back Bay bistro, perched on the edge of the Boston Public Garden, has a four-course feast planned to explore Marchesi di Barolo’s wines with courses like White Truffle Tagliatelle with burrata, hen of the woods mushrooms, parmigiano and fresh white Alba truffles paired with Barolo del Comune di Barolo 2013. Anna Abbona, the estate’s fifth-generation proprietor, will be on hand to talk you through each pour and to discuss the winemaking history and heritage of her family’s estate which encompasses approximately 430 acres of UNESCO World Heritage vineyards in the Langhe wine region of Piedmont. Check out the full menu below; dinner starts at 6:30pm and costs $275 per person, which includes all your food and wine. Make a reservation here, and follow Bistro on IG and FB for updates, or call 617.426.7878 with Qs.
