Ron Swanson once said, “barbecues should be about one thing: good shared meat,” and The East Cambridge Business Association (ECBA) is bringing people together once again with their Smoke This Rib Fest on Sunday, October 1st. Head to Cambridge Street in East Cambridge, between Fulkerson Street and Fifth Street, from 12:00 to 4:00pm to cast your votes for the best BBQ in town at the biggest annual meatfest around.

Tasting tickets are $30(plus a small admin fee), which gets you 10 rib samples from some of your favorite Cambridge locales including The Dial, Gufo, Puritan & Co., Shy Bird, State Park, and Vincent’s. Cast your vote and then take a stroll through the smoky street fair to check out the live music from The New Grown-Ups, Albino Mbie Trio, Danielle Miraglia, and Sarah Borges & Keith Voegele, plus there’ll be kids games and crafts.

Snag your tasting tickets here ASAP as they do tend to sell out early. If you miss the tasting tickets, that’s ok because there’s still plenty of fun to be had by tasting a la carte.
