Drink for a Cause During Negroni Week

Eataly Boston

Saying ciao! to summer can be bittersweet but thankfully Negroni Week is coming soon to help you transition into autumn in a simplistic — and boozy! — way. The annual cocktail-fest is scheduled for Monday, September 13th  through Sunday, September 19th this year, with eateries around the world taking part in the global fundraiser — $1 of every Negroni purchase at a participating restaurant will be donated to the charity of their choice so the more you drink, the more good you do for the community (basic math really).

Take a tasting tour around the Greater Boston area to try versions of the simple-yet-complex cocktail which Anthony Bourdain called his “perfect cocktail” at spots like Sonsie, Rochambeau, Forage, Summer Shack, Toro, Coppa, and Sycamore. Or head out to Hudson where the cobblers at Less Than Greater Than are creating eight spins on the classic so you can try each one and see what your favorite is (maybe plan on making more than one trip?). The peeps at Eataly Boston have also put together five different takes for you to check out.

Visit the Negroni Week website to see who’s in, learn more about their charitable partners and start strategizing about ways to try them all.
