On Saturday, December 16th, skip the trip to the mall, steer clear of Faneuil Hall and get out of Downtown altogether for the Dorchester Yuletide Craft Beer Crawl sponsored by Dorchester Brewing Company. Check out the neighborhood’s beer scene, with stops at Lower Mills Tavern, Ashmont Grill, The Blarney Stone, Harp & Bard and Dorchester Brewing Co.
$40 gets you a punch card for one beer at each spot, and a portion of the proceeds benefit local charities. There’s a noon start time for early birds, and a 1:00pm slot for drinkers who need their beauty sleep. Once you make it to Dorchester Brewing, there will be live music and tree trimming to get you in the holiday spirit.
