Who in Dot has the best chili? That’s for you and a panel of judges to decide. On Sunday, March 24th, make your way to the IBEW Local 103 for the 13th Annual Dorchester Chili Cook Off, where the competition will be spicy (both in the pot and between contestants). The pros will pick winners in four categories — Best of Show, Best Non-Beef, Most Creative Dish and Team Spirit — but you’ll get the say in the People’s Choice prize. A New Orleans-style second line band, DJ and games for all ages round out the entertainment. Proceeds benefit the Dorchester Day Parade, which will take place in the neighborhood on Sunday, June 2nd. Individual tickets are $20 per person while a family of four (2 adults, 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children) bundle is $30, both with small processing fees. Secure your spot here.
