On Tuesday, February 5th, the Hotel Commonwealth hosts the annual Cookie Creations competition, pitting some of Boston’s top pastry chefs against one another to see who can create the best Girl Scout Cookie-based dessert. Pick up a couple tickets ($45 apiece through the Girl Scout website) and head to the Hotel Commonwealth in Kenmore Square from 6:00-8:00pm to see how Thin Mints or Caramel DeLites are transformed in the hands of Anthony Cole of Chatham Bars Inn, Karen Gondoly of Great Bay; Kevin Kesterson of Grill 23 & Bar; Tom Ponticelli of Davio’s and Avila, and Nicole Rhode of Flour Bakery. Celebrity judges, including Where to Eat’s Jill Epstein, TV Diner’s Jenny Johnson and Lisa Roach from Kiss 108’s Matty in the Morning, will pick their favorites.
