On Friday, June 25th, nearly thirty-five of the city’s most talented chefs will be trading in their standard kitchen attire for something a little skimpier. The thirteenth annual Chefs in Shorts – the highlight of the summer’s culinary fundraisers – returns to the Seaport Hotel for a fun evening of grilling and chilling. The urban barbeque, which takes place from 7:00-9:30pm along the upper level viaduct, will include goodies from the folks at 606 Congress, Aura, Avila, Bambara, BOND, BOKX 109, Burtons Grill, Davio’s, Gargoyles, KO Prime, The Metropolitan Club, Pairings, Poe’s Kitchen at the Rattlesnake, Regal Beagle, Sauciety, Stanhope Grille, Stoddard’s Fine Food & Ale and Top of the Hub, among plenty of others. The proceeds from each $60 ticket (which also covers complimentary beer and wine) will be donated to the Greater Boston Food Bank, a local organization dedicated to ending hunger in Eastern Massachusetts.
