On Thursday, December 12th The Hawthorne welcomes cheese monger David Robinson for a Pop Up Formaggio Shop. From 6:00 to 11:00pm the Hotel Commonwealth bar will host Robinson and his cheese-loving team as they bring all their jams, gift baskets, cheese boards and knives and, of course, cheeses for folks to purchase. There will also be cheese and aperitifs to sample. Admission to the one-night shop is free but they’ll be donating a portion of the evening’s proceeds to the Greater Boston Food Bank so plan to stop in and stock up.
