The season’s best harborside tasting event, Chefs in Shorts, is back at the Seaport Hotel for its eleventh year on Friday, June 27th. Reserve your tickets soon so you can spend the evening strolling around the Seaport’s beautifully manicured patios listening to live music and sampling hot-off-the-grill goodness from restaurants like 33 Restaurant & Lounge, 606 Congress, Aura, Avila, The Beehive, Bonfire, Bravo, Café Fleuri, dante, Gargoyles, Grafton Street, Kingfish Hall, Lineage, Mantra, The Metropolitan Club, Olives, Prezza, Sage, Sel de la Terre, Temple Bar, Top of the Hub, Union and Upstairs on the Square, among others. The urban barbeque starts at 7:00pm and costs $60 per person, which includes complimentary beer and wine tastings, too. Proceeds from the event benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank, which distributes almost 25 million pounds of food per year to hunger-relief agencies in eastern Massachusetts.
