Candlelit Earth Day Dinner

Oak Long Bar gets into the spirit of Earth Day by shutting off all the lights for their Earth, Wine & Fire dinner. On Sunday, April 22nd the Fairmont Copley Plaza’s signature restaurant will be cutting the electricity and inviting guests to dine by the light of more than 100 candles placed throughout the elegant dining room. Chef Graham Lockwood takes the environmentally-friendly efforts to the next level, too. The menu itself is printed on plantable seed paper and all of the evening’s a la carte dishes feature ingredients from New England farms and purveyors. They’ve even picked some potential wine pairings sourced from New York and Oregon vineyards that use sustainable and biodynamic farming practices. Reservations are available throughout the evening, though those dining between 5:00 and 7:00pm will receive a complimentary taste of rosé upon arrival. Call 617.585.7222 to book a table and have a delicious Earth Day.
