All the Way from Alba to the Back Bay

On Thursday, September 27th, the folks from The Café at Taj Boston are cellar-bound for another of their fabulous monthly wine dinners. This time around they’ll be pouring the wines of Pio Cesare (Cortese Di Gavi, Barbera, Dolcetto D’Alba and Barolo) for their guests, who will get to enjoy a glass (at 6:30pm) at the cellar reception before moving upstairs for a four-course dinner from chef Michael Mandato. Dinner, including the Piedmontese wines from the fifth generation family winery, costs $65 per person (not including tax or gratuity). Call 617.598.5255 to have them hold a place for you.
