The Blue Owl’s Now Open

Central Square’s boutique hotel, 907 Main, opened Blue Owl, their edgy new rooftop bar on Wednesday, September 1st. The laid-back, industrial chic spot gets its namesake from the owl in the old school Tootsie Roll commercials (IYKYK) and boasts an indoor bar, dining area and 40-seat outdoor terrace with sweeping views of Cambridge.

The menu was designed by executive chef Justin Urso who also oversees the menu at The Dial located on the hotel’s ground floor. Urso brings globally inspired street food to the table with dishes like chicken vindaloo skewers, lamb kofta and flautas, Caribbean inspired oxtail beef patties and fried chicken sando with piri piri sauce. In the drinks department, Bar Manager Molli Rohland leads the fire cocktail program taking classics you love and flipping them on their head with The Pale Blue Owl (house take on the refreshing blue drink) and their Treat Yourself specials featuring Foie Gras Old Fashioned (made with foie gras fat washed Ron Zacapa XO). 

To start, Blue Owl will be open Wednesdays & Thursdays from 4:00-11:00pm and Fridays & Saturdays from 4:00pm-12:00am. Take a peek at the menu below, and keep an eye on their Instagram for more opening details. Join them on opening day — it’ll be a hoot.
