Dust off your aprons and get out some sunscreen because Encore Boston Harbor is bringing back their Master Classes this June. After pausing for a year the casino and culinary team are bringing back two delicious classes and using their stunning outdoor terraces to give you all the social distancing space you need.
Rare Steakhouse’s executive chef John Ross is partnering with Island Creek Oysters with an Oyster Shucking and Champagne Tasting Class, to help you learn how to expertly choose and carefully shuck the best bivalves out on the Harborside outdoor terrace. On Sunday, June 13th (from 2:00-4:00pm) learn about New England’s oyster harvesting while sipping Veuve Clicquot and nibbling canapés like black bass crudo with watermelon radish and hackleback caviar and charred Spanish octopus topped with salsa verde. Not only will you become a shucking pro, you will get a gift bag filled with your own oyster shucking tools, recipes and other goodies. Tickets $95 per person all-inclusive (must be 21+ to participate), book your tickets online here.
Still hunting for the best Father’s Day gift this year? Look no further than this special Father’s Day Grilling, Mixology and Cigar Rolling Class with Rare Steakhouse’s chef de cuisine Timothy Hixson. On Sunday, June 20th (from 1:00pm-3:00pm) give dad the gift of grilling, cocktails, and cigars all outside on the Harborside outdoor terrace. He will learn all the grilling techniques from the masters along with enjoying a surf and turf selection of meats including four charred cuts of Rare’s signature beef, sip on handmade cocktails and imported hand-rolled cigars to relax and enjoy on the lawn. Best yet, he will be given a gift bag filled with event-themed goodies. Tickets are $95 per person all-inclusive, get it online here.
