Taking over the space formerly occupied by Tavern Road, The Smoke Shop’s second location is officially open for business in Fort Point. It’s the first expansion of the Kendall Square-based BBQ spot from chef-owner Andy Husbands, who also owns and operates the South End’s beloved Tremont 647. So when you’re craving some sweet & spicy coleslaw, crispy fried okra or a burnt ends platter (those delicious squares of extra flavorful brisket), head to 343 Congress Street.
