A Winey Weekend at the Seaport

Calling all wine-lovers, make sure you mark your calendars for Saturday, January 21st and Sunday, January 22nd when the Wine Expo comes back to Boston. The Seaport World Trade Center will throw open its doors beginning Friday for a series of wine seminars before moving on to the big event – two days of the Grand Tasting. Not only will you get to sample thousands of wines from hundreds of producers, but there will be tasty nibbles from the likes of Bokx 109, Flora, North 26 and Taranta as well as chef demonstrations by Chris Coombs of dbar and Deuxave, Patricia Yeo of OM, Billy Brandolini of Ceia Kitchen + Bar and Andy Husbands of Tremont 647 among others. In addition to all this standard wine-soaked fun, there will also be a smattering of vintners dinner in restaurants throughout the city beginning on Monday the 16th. Tickets cost anywhere from $75 to $250 depending on which event you want, when it is and date of purchase. Visit their website for a full breakdown of pricing and to purchase your ticket.
