Summer Wines at Pesce Blue

Portsmouth’s Pesce Blue kicks off summer on the seacoast with a new monthly wine tasting. On the first Wednesday of the month owner Cliffe Arrand plucks some of his favorite vintages from the restaurant’s expertly crafted list and, from 5:30-7:30pm, pours tastes of each. The inaugural tasting, scheduled for Wednesday, July 1st features Turnbull Sauvignon Blanc from California, Big Fire Pinot Gris from Oregon, McManis Pinot Noir from California and LaPosta Malbec from Argentina. The tasting is complimentary and open to the public. If you stick around for dinner – there’s no doubt chef James Walter’s summer menu has something that’ll strike your fancy – you can order one of the evening’s featured wines for 25% off. Call Pesce Blue at 603.430.7766 for more info, directions or plan ahead and book a table.
