Tomasso Trattoria in Southborough is taking advantage of the warm weather, hosting a Summer Harvest Dinner with Applefield Farm on Thursday, August 16th. This five-course feast includes paired wines from across Italy, proving that Italian wines are best enjoyed with food. You’ll start with fresh Involtino di Zucchini paired with a light Rosato, then stick with the classics and enjoy a Bruschetta Caprese with local heirloom tomatoes and a Sicilian Greco di Tufo. And don’t worry about your beach bod: dessert is fresh local watermelon with Greek feta cheese, honey, and fresh mint paired with a sweet Italian dessert wine.
