The Smoke Shop’s Hudson Whiskey Dinner

The Smoke Shop

The whiskey river runneth over at The Smoke Shop on Wednesday, July 20th when they welcome the folks from New York’s Hudson Whiskey for a BBQ and bourbon dinner. Reserve your seat at their Harvard Square location for a smoketacular three-course meal and an informative presentation on Hudson’s lineup of spirits with Michael Boughton of William Grant & Sons. A seasoned whiskey educator with tons of experience in Boston restaurants and bars, he’ll tell you all about how Hudson’s founder Ralph Erenzo opened his first distillery in Upstate New York in 2003 and blazed the trail for today’s US craft distilleries.

Get in an Empire State of mind starting at 6:30pm with a welcome whiskey cocktail, then dig into some signature barbecue from acclaimed chef, celebrated cookbook author and award-winning pitmaster Andy Husbands. You’ll get to taste some major New York attitude (and New York grains) in Bright Lights, Big Bourbon, Do the Rye Thing and Short Stack Rye, plus a bonus surprise hard-to-find whiskey.

Dinner is $100 per person and includes your welcome drink, food, bourbon tasting and the presentation. Book your ticket and get more info here, and if you can’t make it follow The Smoke Shop on Insta for upcoming special events all summer.
