Taste of the South End 2007

Just imagine, all your favorite South End eateries under one roof – Taste of the South End 2007 is like a dream come true with nearly forty of the city’s top restaurants serving bite-sized servings straight from their late winter menus. For one night only, Tuesday, March 13th, to be precise, you can mix and match tastes from restaurants like 33 Restaurant & Lounge, Avila, Finale, Franklin Café, Hamersley’s, Icarus, Masa, Rocca, Sage, Sibling Rivalry, Toro, Tremont 647, Turner Fisheries and Union, among others. Wash it all down with wines from all over the world. Tickets for the event, which starts at 6:30pm at the Cyclorama, cost $95 apiece – or, if you’d like to rub elbows with all that culinary greatness, buy VIP tickets at $200 each and sip champagne at a chef’s reception starting at 6:00pm. Proceeds benefit the AIDS Action Committee, a non profit, community-based health organization, working to stop the HIV/AIDS epidemic by preventing new infections and optimizing the health of those already infected. To purchase tickets or to get more information, call 617.450.1526 or go to the AIDS Action Committee website.
