Get your fork ready—the 20th annual Taste of Jamaica Plain returns on Thursday, September 17th. This year the feast takes place at the Franklin Park Zoo’s Tropical Forest Pavilion with 20-plus area restaurants like Bella Luna, The Frogmore, Ten Tables and more. You can taste your way through the neighborhood’s offerings with live music, a silent auction, raffles and peeks at the zoo’s new baby gorilla. The fun runs from 6:00-9:00pm and early-bird tickets are available online here for $50 each (kids under 12 are free, so bring ‘em along.) The evening is also celebrating host ESAC’s 50th anniversary and proceeds help benefit the nonprofit’s community-based services.
