Taste of Cambridge 2008

On Thursday, June 19th, Technology Square at MIT will once again be overflowing with chefs on hand for the annual Taste of Cambridge. This year’s event features sweets and savories from fifty or so of the area’s most beloved eateries – from upscale spots like The Blue Room, Casablanca, Chez Henri, Craigie Street Bistrot, East Coast Grill, Finale, Grafton Street, Harvest, Henrietta’s Table, Hungry Mother, Rialto, Sandrine’s, Temple Bar and UpStairs on the Square as well as more casual destinations like Border Café, Picante Mexican Grill, Tommy Doyle’s and Upper Crust. And you can try samples from all of them for just $50 (if you purchase your ticket in advance, that is – tickets are $60 if purchased at the door or $75 if you’d like access to the VIP area where there’ll be passed hors d’oeuvres, desserts and sample-sized specialty drinks from celebrity bartenders). All proceeds from the event will benefit Community Servings and the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter. To purchase tickets or to get more information, including a complete list of participants, go to the event website.
