On Sunday, June 26th, Sweet Cheeks hosts a food-and-drink-fueled fundraiser in support of those affected by the mass shooting at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub. The Sweet Cheeks menu will be on offer with all the BBQ (and biscuit!) favorites. Guest bartenders, like Moe and Will Isaza, will shake things up behind the bar while DJ Sit & Spin and The Boston Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence provide the entertainment. Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey will make an appearance and chef Tiffani Faison will emcee the evening. Guests can dig in to the (cash only) a la carte eats, and bid on auction items, like Red Sox Green Monster tickets for four or a catered party for as many as fifty people courtesy of Chubby Chickpea. Admission is a suggested $25 cash donation and one hundred percent of proceeds will go to Equality Florida, the state’s largest civil rights organization dedicated to LGBT equality, and their financial support of the Pulse victims and families.
