Sustainable Seafood Soiree

Pagu

Tracy Chang and the PAGU crew have a special, collaborative chefs’ dinner focused on sustainable seafood and sourcing practices on the books for Wednesday, April 19th – just in time for Earth Day. In keeping with her Covid-era do-gooding and community-building (she launched Project Restore Us and Off Their Plate during the pandemic), Chang has invited some very notable friends from the industry and local community for the first RoundTable, a dinner series that’ll bring chefs and neighbors together for a little mutual aid.

In addition to Chang’s award-winning eats, the evening will feature David Vargas (Vida Cantina, Portsmouth, NH; Ore Nell’s BBQ, Kittery, Maine), Christine Lau (formerly of Kimika NYC, The CLAU group), Jordan Rubin (Mr. Tuna, Bar Futo, and Crispy Gai, all of Portland, Maine), and Kenshi Imura (Cafe Sushi, Cambridge). Grab a ticket here ($120 to 165 per person) and head to 310 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge for a 6:00pm reception with passed bites, followed by a seated five-course dinner (one from each chef) with optional beverage pairings that will highlight ingredients that are sustainably sourced.

After dinner, from 8:30 to 9:30pm, there will be a panel discussion moderated by Nina Berg of Flagg Studio for the chefs to discuss all things sustainability and how they practice what they preach in their own restaurants. Check out PAGU’s website for more deets, and if you can’t make it be sure to follow their IG for upcoming dinners in the series. If you have any Qs give them a call at 617.945.9290.
