Some Chefly Secrets

Anyone who’s ever been out to dinner knows how chefs cook when they’re at work. But have you ever wondered what your favorite professional cookers do when they’re at home in their own kitchen? Well, now’s your chance. On Tuesday, April 16th BostonChefs.com is teaming up with the BCAE and chef Rich Garcia for another In the Kitchen cooking class. This time, the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel chef will be letting students in on the secrets of his home repertoire. Hands on students ($70) will get to arrive at 6:00pm, sip some lovely wines courtesy of 90+ Cellars and work with Garcia as he creates smoked haddock deviled eggs, seared Archer Angus grass-fed beef rolls, organic mesclun salad, pollock a la grandma plus ice cream sandwiches for dessert. Guests who’d prefer to get a sneak peek of the fun without actually doing any of the dirty work can purchase the guest ticket ($25) and arrive at 7:00pm for dinner with the aforementioned paired wines. Click here to purchase either ticket option and to see pictures and videos from some past classes.
