Let the fabulous wine-loving folks at Foundry on Elm take your tastebuds on a tour around the world at their weekly Wine Wednesday series. Make your way over to Davis Square to brighten up hump day with a highlighted sip – usually along a particular theme like say, wines from a particular producer, region, style or varietal (think: Californian wines or Greek wines, bubbles or big fall reds, just to name a few – November’s theme is Pacific Northwest from Washington state, just fyi).
Just keep an eye on their Instagram for the wine of the week, which they’ll be serving by the half-pour, a small carafe of about 2-ish glasses. It’s the perfect portion for tasting without committing to the whole bottle, plus it’s the perfect pairing for a plate of chef Shayne Nunes’ brassiere-meets-tavern fare.
