Capo Hosts Sicilian Wine Dinner

Tenuta Regaleali

Let chef Ciro Fodera take you on a mini trip to Sicily right from the Supper Club at Capo. On Thursday, August 25th, he’ll be hosting a four-course, white-tablecloth dinner in the spacious downstairs restaurant and lounge (home to their weekly comedy nights and the ever-popular Sinatra Sunday Dinner Show) paired with wines from Tenuta Regaleali.

Tenuta Regaleali (Italian for Regaleali Estate) encompasses more than 600 hectares and has been producing wines since the 1830s. The winery was the first to produce single vineyard wine in Sicily, “Riserva del Conte” (Count’s Reserve), and their modern wines focus on native Italian varietals like Nero d’Avola, Catarratto, Perricone, Nerello Mascalese and Grillo, so you’ll get to explore some offbeat grapes while you dig into Fodera’s signature classic Italian fare.

Tickets for the 6:00pm dinner, available online here for $120 each, are in short supply – so get your order in asap. Break out a snappy suit for the big night, and extra bonus if you can find Sinatra-style fedora to complete the look, because as Old Blue Eyes once said, “Cock your hat, angles are attitudes.”
