Having named the chili champion, the ruler of ravioli, the supreme soup-maker and the master of meatballs, chef Dante de Magistris is ready to crown Boston’s Sausage King at his upcoming Sausagefest, scheduled for Sunday, November 20th. The afternoon tasting event, which runs (rain or shine) from 2:00-5:00pm on the restaurant’s riverside patio, will feature links from chefs like Jamie Bissonnette (Coppa and Toro), Brian Dandro (Art Bar), Louis DiBiccari (Storyville), Damien Di Paola (Ristorante Damiano), Colin Lynch (Menton), William Kovel (Catalyst), Marc Orfaly (Pigalle), Brian Poe (Poe’s Kitchen) and Josh Smith (Tico). And so it’s not just the boys, Mary Dumont (Harvest), Tiffani Faison (Sweetcheeks) and Patricia Yeo (OM) will be joining the fun. Tickets cost $20 apiece.
