Pinot Noir Dinner at Forage

Even if you think you already know all there is to know about Pinot Noir, there’s actually more to learn — and, of course, to taste — on Tuesday, November 19th at Forage. Wine smartie Stan Hilbert has a couple of unexpected, small-production Pinots up his sleeve for you to try at this week’s wine dinner, and they’re all expertly matched up with four courses from chef Eric Cooper. Check out the menu below for pairings like Peppery Parsnip with Walnut & Crabapple and Green Lentils paired with 2014 “Les Soupois,” Domaine Joly, Jura; and Cider Roasted Gnarly Farms Guinea Hog with Carrot Puree, Tallow Fried Potatoes and Frisee paired with 2021 Mercurey “Chamirey” Raquillet.

Dinner reservations are available here or you can give them a call at 617.576.5444. Dining in costs $110 per person, which includes all your food and wine. You can also take all your Pinot pairings to go for two people for $160, all you have to do is order here. Pinot Noir is a great match with turkey, by the way, so if you taste any wines you love make sure you take a few bottles home for Thanksgiving at retail prices, or if you’re tasting at home you can swing by Hilbert’s new wine shop in Dedham before the big day.
