Olive Oil Gets Its Due

The unsung hero on many a menu, olive oil gets top billing at Tomasso Trattoria’s upcoming dinner on Friday, January 24th. Chefs Bill Bradley and Michelle Blass wil be building a five-course menu around the offerings of Fratelli Aprile. Sample the Sicilian oil in dishes like marinated tuna with pistachios, poppy seeds and lcoal apple, or, on the sweet end of the spectrum, olive oil cake with walnuts and rasins and Moon of the Faithful syrup. Dinner, which starts at 7:00pm in Tomasso’s private dining room, costs $45 (or $70 with the optional wine pairing) per person before tax and gratuity. Call 508.481.8484 for a table.
