Negroni Week 2023

Negronis are so well loved, they’ve got a whole week dedicated to them – and lucky for you, it’s coming right up. From Monday, September 18th through Sunday, September 24th, bartenders all over the world, including several from in and around Boston, flex their mixology skills making the iconic cocktail (in classic and creative iterations) for a good cause.

Whether you already love a good negroni, or you want to get initiated into the negroni lover’s club, there are special sips to be sampled all over town. Consult the Negroni Week website to look for your favorite restaurants and bars or see what’s nearby and plan outings to participants like Karen Akunowicz’s Fox & The Knife and Bar Volpe (where they know a thing or two about negronis), The Tip Tap RoomForage, OAK Long Bar + Kitchen, Town Meeting Bistro, The Lexington at Cambridge Crossing, Trifecta (where they’ve got a whole flight available for sipping), Sonsie, Chopps Italian Steakhouse & Bar, Daiquiris & Daisies and Karma Asian Bistro in Burlington, where they’ll be offering a special Japanese negroni all week.

And don’t feel like you have to stop at just one spot because a portion of the funds from every drink will go to Slow Food International, a global charity initiative that supports sustainability, education, equity, and diversity, with hospitality, food, and drink woven throughout.

Check out the official Negroni Week website and use the search function to find out who else is pouring special negronis this week, and be sure to tag photos of your faves on social media with the official hashtag, #NegroniWeek and tag Campari and Imbibe Magazine.
