National Hamburger Day in Bambara’s Backyard

Peter Holmgren

National Hamburger Day is Friday, May 28th, just in time to kick-off your Memorial Day weekend. To honor this tasty occasion, the gang at Cambridge’s Bambara are firing up the grill out in Bambara’s Backyard, the pop-up concept that turns the patio in the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel’s courtyard into what summer’s all about — grilling gatherings with family and friends — but without any of the work. Celebrate with their dry-aged burger topped with smoked cheddar, pickles, harissa aioli along with fries and a few beers. Boston-based vocalist and songwriter Corey Hales will bring the tunes starting at 6:30pm, giving you with all the “Cheeseburger in Paradise” vibes you need to start your long holiday weekend.

Bambara’s Backyard is open for all your outdoor dining needs (weather permitting) seven days a week with casual umbrella lounge seating (great for social distanced dining), an outdoor bar, along with private alcoves and backyard games like Bocce, Connect 4, Tumbling Timbers and Cornhole. This festive al fresco spot is hidden from the hustle and bustle of the city, helping you enjoy a mini-hideaway along with live entertainment Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00pm-9:30pm. Book your backyard spot online today so you can make the most of summer without leaving the city.
