Marzae Wine Dinner in Cambridge

Marzae Wines

You can eat local and drink local this week at Forage as they serve up a selection of bottles from Boston-area upstart Marzae Wines at their Tuesday night wine dinner. Marzae’s founder, Eliot Martin, is on a mission to put New England on the natural wine map, and you can taste some of his handiwork for yourself on Tuesday, January 30th. Chef Eric Cooper has some special dishes ready to pair up with the winery’s first releases, including Mole Rubbed Monkfish with Gilfeather Turnips, Sunflower Seed Oil, and Strawberry Vinegar paired with P. Strobus; and Lamb Ribs with Butternut Squash and Melty Reading paired with V. Labrusca. Take a peek at the entire menu below.

Dinner costs $110 per person to dine in at their Cambridge dining room (snag a reservation between 5:00 and 8:45pm here), or stay comfy at home by ordering the whole meal to-go for $160 (feeds two people) by ordering here. Check out more info about the winery on their website, and if you like what you taste you can bring a few bottles home at retail prices or ask wine guru Stan Hilbert to put some aside for you for pickup at his Dedham bottle shop.
