Is there anything PAGU’s dynamo Tracy Chang can’t do? The James Beard Award-nominated chef recently squeezed in a little time with the acclaimed Japanese sushi chefs from o ya into her busy schedule, and she’s ready to pass some of the skills she’s learned on to you at a trio of Sushi Making Classes on Thursday, January 4th, Friday, January 5th, and Saturday, January 6th. From 12:00 to 2:30pm she’ll show you the ropes for making restaurant-quality sushi pieces and handrolls, plus you’ll learn the secrets for making sushi rice, delicious marinades for fish, and how to make vegetables shine (there will be gluten-free and vegan offerings available). Snag some tickets here for $119 each, and plan to do some of your own rolling (and, of course, some eating) at the Cambridge eatery.
